About

Mark Pinto is a highly accomplished veteran lobbyist serving as the Managing Partner for the Continental Strategy Jacksonville office. With a wealth of experience in government relations, Mark has made significant contributions to various sectors by securing substantial funding and advocating for important causes.

Mark’s expertise lies in navigating the complex landscape of government appropriations, where he has successfully secured millions of dollars for non-profit organizations. His efforts have benefited a wide range of initiatives, including charter schools, public schools, transportation projects, hospital funding, mental health programs, and environmental projects. Notably, Mark played a pivotal role in securing a remarkable $1 million private gift from the PLAYERS Championship/PGA TOUR. This generous donation enabled Flagler Health+ to provide essential mental health services to St. John’s County Schools.

In 2017, Mark achieved a significant victory by helping secure a medical marijuana license during a special session when only a few licenses were awarded. This accomplishment was a testament to his strategic approach and deep understanding of the legislative process.

Mark’s commitment to social causes is evident through his successful efforts in passing impactful legislation. On behalf of Ed Burr’s Foundation, the Monique Burr Foundation, he championed legislation requiring K-12 schools to provide prevention education instruction on child abuse and human trafficking, raising awareness and ensuring the safety of vulnerable individuals. Additionally, Mark facilitated the passage of legislation granting public schools and theme parks the ability to provide epinephrine auto-injectors with immunity from liability on behalf of Mylan, now Viatris.

Throughout his career, Mark has developed an extensive network of contacts in both the private and public sectors, establishing himself as a respected and influential figure. His multifaceted experience encompasses media relations, corporate communications, grassroots campaigning, and fundraising, among other key areas. Mark’s ability to build strategic partnerships and leverage his network has been instrumental in achieving his goals and delivering positive outcomes.

Mark holds a B.A. in political science from Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia. He is married to Kelly, and they have two daughters. They reside in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida.
