Christopher Miles is a Partner at Continental Strategy. Chris has over a decade of hands-on experience managing complex corporate and political campaigns across the nation.
Christopher Miles was part of the founding team that helped shape the firm from its earliest days. Bringing over a decade of hands-on experience in managing complex corporate and political campaigns nationwide, Chris is a nationally recognized strategist with expertise across energy, education, appropriations, and transportation. He began his career in Florida, where he held key roles such as Chief of Staff to the Miami-Dade County School Board, Legislative Aide in the Florida House, and Special Assistant to the Governor, gaining extensive experience in policy development and governance across diverse fields.
Miles launched his federal career working for former Congressman Lincoln Diaz-Balart, a senior member of the influential House Rules Committee, where he gained a strong foundation in legislative strategy. He then served in the office of U.S. Senator George LeMieux, further honing his policy and strategic expertise. From there, he advanced to senior roles for Members of Congress, supporting lawmakers on key committees, including the House Committee on Ways and Means, the House Committee on Appropriations, the House Committee on Armed Services, the House Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure, and the House Committee on Education and the Workforce.
In Washington, Chris has become a sought-after counselor to Members of Congress, major corporations, trade associations, and governments. Known for his deep policy knowledge and strong relationships, he is sought after for his ability to navigate complex legislative landscapes and develop effective strategies. Recently, he was appointed to lead the National Republican Congressional Committee’s efforts in the Southeastern United States, managing dozens of congressional races across ten states, overseeing substantial budgets, and securing key victories for Republican incumbents.
With a comprehensive understanding of state, local, and federal government complexities, combined with his strategic acumen and strong relationships, Chris is an expert navigator and sought-after counselor to clients seeking to shape policy outcomes. In recognition of his dedication to service, he was honored with the President’s Lifetime Achievement Award for Service by President George W. Bush. Chris holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Florida International University and a Master of Public Administration from Penn State University.
