In her most recent role as the Director of State Legislative Affairs at the Florida Farm Bureau, Courtney played a pivotal role in shaping agricultural policies and representing the organization’s interests at the state level. Her deep understanding of the complexities surrounding agriculture and her ability to navigate legislative processes made her an invaluable asset to the organization.

Prior to her tenure at the Florida Farm Bureau, Courtney served as the Assistant Vice President of Government Affairs at the Florida Bankers Association (FBA). During her time at FBA, she effectively communicated the association’s positions and priorities to policymakers on the state and federal levels, leveraging her extensive knowledge gained from her earlier role as the Deputy Director of Government Relations at the Florida Office of Financial Regulation.

In addition, Courtney has worked on various education issues while employed at the Messer Caparello Law Firm. Her expertise spanned from K-12 education to higher education, allowing her to contribute to meaningful policy discussions and advocate for positive change in the education sector.

Courtney earned her degree from Florida State University in 2015, and has since resided in Tallahassee.
