Daniel "Danny" Gomez is a partner at Continental Strategy, where he leads in the development and execution of federal government relations strategies to help corporations, nonprofit organizations, and institutions of higher education achieve their objectives in Congress and with federal agencies.
Before joining Continental, Danny was a director of government relations at FGS Global, a leading global communications and public affairs consultancy. In this capacity, he guided clients across financial services, education, tax, and philanthropy policy, ensuring they were well-positioned for success. His work included preparing clients for congressional testimony, facilitating access to federal programs, and identifying opportunities to elevate brand visibility in the public sphere. Danny also maintained a strong presence in external organizations to advance business priorities and build strategic partnerships.
In the public sector, Danny worked as a Legislative Aide to Sen. Deb Fischer (R-NE), where he provided counsel on financial services, tax policy, and federal appropriations, as well as on the Senate Rules Committee during the Trump and Biden administrations. He co-led passage of the bipartisan Circulating Collectible Coin Redesign Act of 2020 in the Senate, which established the American Women Quarters Program. He also supported efforts to expand the federal tax credit for employer-provided paid leave in the 2017 Tax Cuts and Jobs Act and reduce regulatory burdens for nonprofits offering mortgage loans. Danny began his career in the U.S. House of Representatives as a Press Fellow.
A Miami native, Danny holds a B.A. In Political Science from Florida International University and an M.A. from Georgetown University. He is an active member of the Hispanic Lobbyists Association and resides in Virginia with his wife and daughter.
