Secured millions of dollars in state appropriations for non-profits

Mark Pinto serves as the Managing Partner for the Continental Strategy Jacksonville office. Mark has extensive expertise in government relations, including securing millions of dollars in state appropriations for non-profits such as charter schools, public schools, transportation projects, hospital funding, mental health, and environmental projects. He has also helped secure a $1 million private gift from the PLAYERS Championship/PGA TOUR for Flagler Health+ to provide mental health services to St. John’s County Schools. In 2017, Mark played a crucial role in securing a medical marijuana license when only a few were awarded, which was a significant victory accomplished statutorily during a special session. He also passed legislation requiring K-12 schools to provide prevention education instruction on child abuse and human trafficking on behalf of Ed Burr’s foundation. Additionally, Mark passed legislation for two years to allow public schools and theme parks to provide epinephrine auto-injectors with immunity from liability on behalf of Mylan, now Viatris. Mark has developed an extensive and invaluable network of contacts in both the private and public sectors. He has key experience in the areas of media relations, corporate communications, grassroots campaigning, and fundraising, among others. Mark graduated from Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia with a B.A. in political science.
